other ... Burke Joined the board of the Island Inn, Sanibel Island, FL in January of 2010 and became Vice-Chairman of the company in April of the same year. Joining a company that was considering an orderly shutdown due to declining revenues and mounting losses, Burke worked closely with the Chairman to develop and execute a plan to turn the company around. By the end of 2010, with a new management team in place, the Island Inn is making a speedy recovery, posting gains in all categories of 40% across the board. See - www.islandinnsanibel.com
